Common questions

How do I avoid spoilers?

Open Settings and use Spoiler guard. Choose Follow my progress to hide chapters, characters, enemies and anything else later than the chapter you've reached, or pick a chapter yourself. Each game has its own setting.

What does Pro include?

Pro adds interactive maps for every Rebirth region, the progress tracker and iCloud sync, plus any Pro features added later. It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and nothing in the free guide is taken away.

I bought Pro. How do I get it on another iPhone?

My progress isn't syncing between devices

iCloud sync is part of Pro. Check that iCloud sync is on in Pocket Guide's Settings, and that each iPhone is signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID in the iPhone Settings app. Changes can take a few moments to arrive.

How do I start a game over?

Open Settings and tap Reset progress for that game. It clears every checked step, quest, intel entry and collectible for that game only.

Something in the guide is wrong or missing

Tap the report link at the bottom of any page, or open Settings and choose Help improve the guide. Your report is sent straight to me with the page already filled in. Add your email if you'd like a reply.

Do I need an internet connection?

No. Everything in the guide, including its images and ability clips, is stored in the app.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are handled by Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Is this an official Final Fantasy app?

No. Pocket Guide is an unofficial fan guide made by one person, and it isn't affiliated with or endorsed by Square Enix. Parts of its text are adapted from the Final Fantasy Wiki under CC BY-SA 3.0. The full list of sources is in Settings under Credits & sources.
